The Institute of Production and Recording, home to well-known instructors like Tom Garneau (Prince’s Paisley Park Studio), Damian Wagner (Virgin Records, Post 525), Steve Hodge (Flyte Tyme Productions) and Bob Jenkins, is now using the M 1030 for education.


The Institute of Production and Recording is a Minneapolis, Minnesota (USA) based school featuring Associate Degrees of Applied Science in Media Arts with focus on Audio Production/Engineering, Music and Entertainment Business, and Sound Design for Visual Media, including Pro Tools Certified Operator and Expert level certifications and classes in video production, game audio, and live sound. Its 50,000+ square foot campus, staffed by award winning entertainment industry professionals, is complete with large format analogue consoles, 13 AVID ICON integrated consoles, latest video equipment and over 120 media stations featuring Pro Tools, Apple Logic Pro, Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro, and Adobe Creative Suite with 24/7 access.  IPR is also an Apple Authorized Training Center, a McDSP Education Partner, and nationally accredited by ACCSC.
